Studies on parasitisation and consumability of Alaska pollack, Theragra chalcogramma (Pall.) [PDF]
Alaska pollack spines imported from the USSR as the so-called “spinka” as well as whole fish were examined for parasites. The parasites found are described; the processing of spines and its efficiency in eliminating the parasites are ...

Climate change causing phase transitions of walleye pollock (Theragra chalcogramma) recruitment dynamics. [PDF]
In 1976 the North Pacific climate shifted, resulting in an average increase of the water temperature. In the Gulf of Alaska the climate shift was followed (i.e. early 1980s) by a gradual but dramatic increase in the abundance of groundfish species that typically prey on pre-recruitment stages of walleye pollock.

Observations on the localization and pathogenicity of Haemobaphes diceraus Wilson; 1917 (Copepoda: Lernaeoceridae) in the gills of Theragra chalcogramma (Pallas) [PDF]
The invasion of Theragra chalcogramma by the parasitic copepod Haemobaphes diceraus and the anatomo-pathologic changes induced by these parasites in the organs of the host are described. The data concerning H. theragrae Yamaguti, 1939 and H. enodis Gusev,

Biometric characters of walleye pollock Theragra chalcogramma (Pallas,1811) (Gadidae) from the Sea of Okhotsk [PDF]
In the present paper the detailed biometric characteristics of walleye pollock (involving 25 metric and 12 meristic features) is demonstrated, with regard to both sexes. In addition, the comparison is made between the population studied and population of
