The effect of Na + and K + on the thermal denaturation of Na + and + K + -dependent ATPase [PDF]

open access: yes, 1983
To increase our understanding of the physical nature of the Na+ and K+ forms of the Na+ + K+-dependent ATPase, thermal-denaturation studies were conducted in different types of ionic media.

A Microbial Lipid‐ATP Synthase Axis Fuels NK Cell Antitumor Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study focuses on the mechanism by which gut microbiota‐derived outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) regulate NK cell antitumor activity. B. intestinalis is identified to decrease extra‐intestinal tumor growth via its OMVs enriched in sphingosine (SP).

HNRNPU K181 Lactylation Drives Cervical Cancer Growth by Upregulating PHGDH and Reprogramming Serine Metabolism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lactate in cervical cancer induces HNRNPU K181 lactylation, opposed by NAA50‐mediated acetylation and suppressed by Pazopanib. This lactylation enhances HNRNPU binding to PHGDH pre‐mRNA exon 1, maintaining exon 1‐containing transcripts and mRNA stability, thereby activating serine metabolism.

Study of thermal fluctuations during thermal denaturation of DNA

open access: yes, 2005
In this paper we address the fundamental issue of temperature fluctuation during the thermal denaturation (or the unzipping of the two strands on heating) of double stranded (ds) DNA. From our experiments we observe the presence of extremely high thermal

Nucleotide and Mg2+ Dependency of the Thermal Denaturation of Mitochondrial F1-ATPase

open access: yes, 1998
The influence of adenine nucleotides and Mg2+ on the thermal denaturation of mitochondrial F1-ATPase (MF1) was analyzed. Differential scanning calorimetry in combination with ATPase activity experiments revealed the thermal unfolding of MF1 as an ...
