Effect of defects on thermal denaturation of DNA oligomers [PDF]
The effect of defects on the melting profile of short heterogeneous DNA chains are calculated using the Peyrard-Bishop Hamiltonian. The on-site potential on a defect site is represented by a potential which has only the short-range repulsion and the flat part without well of the Morse potential.

Eutectozymes as Soft Hybrid Materials for Advanced Biocatalysis
Eutectozymes are sustainable hybrid materials that embed a GOx–HRP cascade within hydrophobic eutectogels featuring a dual supramolecular–covalent network. This architecture preserves native enzyme structure and stability, enables efficient heterogeneous biocatalysis in aqueous media, and positions eutectogels as robust platforms for next‐generation ...

Assembling a True “Olympic Gel” From over 16 000 Combinatorial DNA Rings
Olympic gels are an elusive class of soft matter, consisting of molecular networks held together purely by mechanically interlocked rings. Their topological structure promises unique properties and functions, but their synthesis has proven notoriously difficult.

Thermal denaturation and aggregation of egg proteins
The thermal denaturation of egg white and egg yolk proteins has been investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry in natural, spontaneously aged samples. pH and protein content change with ageing.

Suppression of thermal denaturation of myosin and salt-induced denaturation of actin by sodium citrate in carp (Cyprinus carpio) [PDF]
The effect of sodium citrate (Na-citrate) on myosin and actin denaturation in myofibrils was investigated. Na-citrate significantly suppressed the thermal inactivation of Ca2+-ATPase of carp myosin in a concentration dependent manner.

Controlling the protein corona formation onto carbon nanomaterials (CNMs) enhances their functionalities as platforms for cancer theranostics. Here, we reviewed the effects of the intrinsic and acquired properties of CNMs on protein corona formation, the consequent biological and toxicological outcomes, and the strategies to reshape corona formation ...

Thermal denaturation of individual and tandem ACP.
Thermal denaturation of (A) the tandem ACP and (B) the individual ACP1 was followed by the loss of molar ellipiticity at 222 nm on a circular dichroism (CD) spectropolarimeter.
