In vitro and in vivo Synergistic Effects of Florfenicol and Thiamphenicol in Combination Against Swine Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology, 2019
Potential synergism between florfenicol (FF) and thiamphenicol (TAP) was investigated for in vitro efficacy against Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and/or Pasteurella multocida as well as in vivo efficacy in swine. Among isolates of A.

A Consecutive Genome Engineering Method Reveals a New Phenotype and Regulation of Glucose and Glycerol Utilization in Clostridium Pasteurianum. [PDF]

open access: yesEng Life Sci
ABSTRACT Clostridium pasteurianum is a microorganism for production of 1,3‐propanediol (1,3‐PDO) and butanol, but suffers from lacking genetic tools for metabolic engineering to improve product titers. Furthermore, previous studies of C. pasteurianum have mainly focused on single genomic modification.

The inhalation therapy of moderate forms of acute bacterial rhinosinusitis

open access: yesМедицинский совет, 2018
Epidemiological studies conducted throughout the world show that the inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses are the leading cause of otorhinolaryngology (ENT) hospital admissions and outpatient clinic referral.

The pharmacokinetics of thiamphenicol in lactating cows [PDF]

open access: yesVeterinary Research Communications, 1993
The pharmacokinetics of thiamphenicol were studied after intravenous and intramuscular administration of 25 mg/kg body weight in lactating cows. Distribution (t1/2 alpha) and elimination (t1/2 beta) half-lives of 6.10 +/- 1.39 min and 1.60 +/- 0.30 h, respectively, were obtained after intravenous administration.

Clinical Laboratory Innovations: Nanoscale Detection of Chloramphenicol Using Nanomaterial Biosensors

open access: yesAnalytical Science Advances, Volume 7, Issue 2, December 2026.
Nanosensor schematic functionalized with specific bioreceptors that produce electrochemical signals upon Chloramphenicol binding. Resulting voltammetric readouts (differential pulse, square‐wave, and cyclic voltammetry) are analyzed to identify and quantify Chloramphenicol.

A Microbial Lipid‐ATP Synthase Axis Fuels NK Cell Antitumor Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 39, 13 July 2026.
This study focuses on the mechanism by which gut microbiota‐derived outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) regulate NK cell antitumor activity. B. intestinalis is identified to decrease extra‐intestinal tumor growth via its OMVs enriched in sphingosine (SP).
