Advancement Area Control Technology for High Mine Pressure Dynamic Disasters in Thick and Hard Roofs
Abstract The western mining area exhibits the superimposed development of a thick and hard roof under the continental sedimentation of multiple ancient rivers. In this case, the fully mechanized caving working face with a large mining height has a high stope pressure, which induces rock burst, mine earthquake, and hurricane in the goaf.

I liked the intimate setting of the class at first. The silence before the professor walked in. The cramped room. It always smelled like citrus cleaning products. Some hair gel mixed in there, too.

Through shear–tensile creep tests and viscoelastic modeling, the fracture evolution of thick soft protective layers is clarified. Results show thickness‐dependent rheological failure modes that govern four types of roof water inrush, providing a mechanism‐based framework for hazard prediction and control. Abstract In the Jurassic coal‐bearing strata of

Analysis of coal pillar rock burst appearance in multi-seam mining with thick and hard roof
The existing research only analyzes the rock burst appearance characteristics under specific conditions, lacks research on the rock burst appearance induced by coal pillar under the condition of thick and hard roof. In order to solve this problem, taking I010203 working face of a mine in Xinjiang as the research object, the paper analyzes the ...

The Breaking Span of Thick and Hard Roof Based on the Thick Plate Theory and Strain Energy Distribution Characteristics of Coal Seam and Its Application [PDF]
In mining engineering, the thick and hard roof threatens the safe production. Based on Reissner plate theory and combined with weighted residual method, with four edges clamped as the boundary conditions, this paper deduces the theoretical formula of the

Carbon emission assessment of tunnel infrastructures: From construction to operation
This study develops a lifecycle carbon accounting framework for tunnel infrastructures, covering design, construction, operation, maintenance, and dismantling. Applied to a subsea tunnel case, the framework reveals the carbon emission distribution among four typical tunnel types and highlights potential carbon offset methods for low‐carbon tunnel ...
