Continuous-Flow Synthesis of Thioureas, Enabled by Aqueous Polysulfide Solution [PDF]
We have developed the continuous-flow synthesis of thioureas in a multicomponent reaction starting from isocyanides, amidines, or amines and sulfur. The aqueous polysulfide solution enabled the application of sulfur under homogeneous and mild conditions.

Adamantyl thioureas as soluble epoxide hydrolase inhibitors [PDF]
A series of inhibitors of the soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) containing one or two thiourea groups has been developed. Inhibition potency of the described compounds ranges from 50 μM to 7.2 nM.

A New Class of Glucosyl Thioureas: Synthesis and Larvicidal Activities [PDF]
A novel series of glucosyl thioureas were synthesized in good overall yields (up to 37% over four steps) from d-glucose and primary amines, and their larvicidal activities toward Mythimna separata Walker were also investigated. This new class of glucosyl

Synthesis of N-(Methoxycarbonylthienylmethyl)thioureas and Evaluation of Their Interaction with Inducible and Neuronal Nitric Oxide Synthase [PDF]
Two isomeric N-(methoxycarbonylthienylmethyl)thioureas were synthesised by a sequence of radical bromination of methylthiophenecarboxylic esters, substitution with trifluoroacetamide anion, deprotection, formation of the corresponding isothiocyanates and

Synthesis of Peracetylated β-D-Glucopyranosyl Thioureas from Substituted 2-Aminobenzo-1ʹ, 3ʹ-thiazoles [PDF]
Some peracetylated glucopyranosyl thioureas containing a heterocyclic ring system, benzo-1,3-thiazole have been prepared by the condensation reaction of tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl isothiocyanate and corresponding substituted 2-amino-(6-substituted)

Kinetic Control over CdS Nanocrystal Nucleation Using a Library of Thiocarbonates, Thiocarbamates, and Thioureas [PDF]
We report a family of substituted thiocarbonates, thiocarbamates, and thioureas and their reaction with cadmium oleate at 180-240 degrees C to form zincblende CdS nanocrystals (d = 2.25.9 nm).

Hydrogen-Bonding Interactions in Crystalline Solids of Cyclic Thioureas [PDF]
The crystal structures of three cyclic thioureas (4,5-disubstituted benzimidazolene-2-thiones) are reported. Each compound forms a tape motif in the solid state. Two of the three compounds assemble into tapes via N−H- - -S hydrogen bonds.
