Multiplicative forward-secure threshold signature scheme

open access: yes, 2008
The devastating consequence of secret key exposure in digital signature is that any signature can be forged and cannot be trusted. To mitigate the damage of secret key exposure, forward-secure signature schemes and threshold signature schemes are devised.

Longitudinal genome‐wide aneuploidy measurements in circulating cell‐free DNA to predict lack of benefit from pembrolizumab in patients with metastatic urothelial cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

Selection combining for noncoherent decode-and-forward relay networks

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2011
This paper studies a new decode-and-forward relaying scheme for a cooperative wireless network composed of one source, K relays, and one destination and with binary frequency-shift keying modulation.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Adaptively secure, splittable, and robust threshold unsigncryption

open access: yesCybersecurity
As a variant of the signcryption scheme, threshold unsigncryption operates among multiple receiver members through a (t, n) threshold process during the unsigncryption phase to improve security and robustness, and has been widely deployed in various ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

On the Efficiency of Nonrepudiable Threshold Proxy Signature Scheme with Known Signers

open access: yes, 2012
[[abstract]]In the (t,n) proxy signature scheme, the signature signed by the original signer can be signed by t or more proxy signers out of a proxy group of n proxy signers. Recently, Hsu et al.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Threshold signature scheme based on factoring and discrete logarithms problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Digital signature scheme is a mathematical scheme for demonstrating the authenticity of a digital message or document. The ordinary digital signature scheme allows single user to sign an online transaction. For the reason of integrity, nowadays many ...
