SummaryImmunological studies of the thrombopoietic stimulating factor (TSF) have been described. The experiments indicated that the thrombopoietic activity of TSF, as assayed in the immunothrombocythemic mouse, was neutralized in vitro by addition of serum obtained from a rabbit previously immunized with a TSF-rich preparation.
