Proteomic Profiling of Thyroid Papillary Carcinoma [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Thyroid Research, 2012
Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is the most common endocrine malignancy. We performed shotgun liquid chromatography (LC)/tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) analysis on pooled protein extracts from patients with PTC and compared the results with those from normal thyroid tissue validated by real-time (RT) PCR and immunohistochemistry (IHC).

ERα–PADI4–CXCL8 Axis Drives MDSC‐Mediated Immune Evasion in Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
MAPK‐driven ligand‐independent ERα activation drives PADI4 transcription and translation. This enzyme then modifies CXCL8 chemokines through citrullination, generating a potent chemoattractant gradient specifically for myeloid‐derived suppressor cells.

NCOA4 Accelerates Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Formation by Regulating Macrophage Activation and Ferroptosis via STAT1–CH25H Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Under pathological stimulation, NCOA4 in macrophages interacts with STAT1 to promote CH25H transcription. The subsequent increase in 25‐HC production activates macrophages, triggers inflammatory responses and ferroptosis, and accelerates the progression of AAA.

DTX3 Suppresses the NPM3–RUVBL1 Axis to Inhibit Homologous Recombination Repair and Abrogate Tumor Radioresistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Deltex 3 (DTX3) catalyzes K27‐linked ubiquitination of nucleophosmin 3 to disrupt homologous recombination repair and reverse tumor radioresistance. Low DTX3 predicts poor survival and radiotherapy recurrence, serving as a radiosensitizing therapeutic target.

Establishment and characterization of a human papillary thyroid carcinoma cell line with oxyphilic differentiation (ONCO-DG 1) [PDF]

open access: yes, 1992
In the present study the establishment and characterization of a new oxyphilic papillary thyroid carcinoma cell line--ONCO-DG1- is given. With immunohistological, histochemical and flow cytometric methods, ONCO-DG 1 cells revealed features of epithelial ...
