Advances in 4D Representation: Geometry, Motion, and Interaction

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
We survey 4D representation through three key pillars — geometry, motion, and interaction — offering a selective, representation‐centric perspective to guide researchers in choosing and customizing the right 4D representation for their tasks. Abstract We present a survey on 4D generation and reconstruction, a fast‐evolving subfield of computer graphics

HySE: A Force‐Directed Layout Algorithm for Directed and Mixed Graphs

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
We present HySE, a novel graph layout algorithm for mixed graphs combining directed and undirected components. Using a holistic spring embedder approach, HySE unifies hierarchical and force‐directed aesthetics, supports non‐uniform node sizes, and performs comparably to state‐of‐the‐art algorithms.

What Are Computer‐Assisted Methods Achieving in Fine‐Needle Aspiration Cytology of the Pancreas? A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesCytopathology, EarlyView.
This meta‐analysis demonstrates high diagnostic accuracy of computer‐assisted methods in pancreatic EUS‐FNA cytology (AUC 0.92–0.96) and supports an integrated, cytopathologist‐led workflow in which artificial intelligence functions as an adjunct to diagnostic interpretation and on‐site evaluation (ROSE). The aesthetic sublime of megaproject structures: A framework and a research agenda

open access: yesEuropean Management Review, EarlyView.
Abstract The physical structures of megaprojects—such as mega‐canals, metros, railway lines, bridges, tunnels, and iconic opera houses—hold a profound capacity to generate aesthetic experiences with enduring societal impact. Yet, research on megaprojects has predominantly focused on functionality and economic rationale with aesthetics being pushed to ...
