Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Enhancing anti-inflammatory activity of Eucalyptus camaldulensis by upregulating secondary metabolites using suspension cultures techniques

open access: yesScientific Reports
Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehn (Family Myrtaceae) is among the most prominent Eucalyptus species, extensively exploited for its anti-inflammatory efficacy. The present study undertakes a comparative phytochemical and pharmacological evaluation of leaf and

Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

In vitro stability of TPP1 preparations in tissue extracts.

open access: yes, 2012
Activated TPP1 was mixed with either brain or liver extracts (20 and 10 mg tissue wet weight/mL, respectively) from Tpp1(−/−) mice (final concentration 0.06 mg/mL TPP1, 90% tissue extracts in 150 mM sodium chloride, 100 mM sodium acetate pH 4.5, 0.1 ...
