Dose Measurements of Parotid Glands and Spinal Cord in Conventional Treatment of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Using RANDO Phantom and Thermoluminescent Dosimeters [PDF]
Introduction Radiotherapy is regarded as the first treatment of choice for nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Despite the advantages of radiotherapy, patients may suffer from a wide range of side-effects due to the presence of many sensitive normal tissues in ...

Evaluation of Dose Distribution Homogeneity and Accuracy for a Cs-137 Source Using Thermoluminescent Dosimeters (CaSO₄:Dy and LiF:Mg,Ti) [PDF]
Introduction: Cesium-137 (Cs-137) is a widely used source of ionizing radiation across various fields.Thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLDs), due to their sensitivity and reliability, are frequently employed to measure radiation dose in medical, industrial,

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

COFs on MOFs: Layer‐by‐Layer Synthesis of MOF@COF Nanoparticles with Synergistic Adsorption
A layer‐by‐layer strategy enables the growth of crystalline covalent organic framework (COF) shells on metal–organic framework nanoparticles, creating core–shell structures with tunable porosity. Ordered interstitial mesopores are formed during shell growth, which are connected with the COF's intrinsic micropores, thereby enhancing water sorption. This

Defect‐Templated Phase Engineering in Atomically Thin Metals
Graphene defects are transformed from passive imperfections into programmable templates for phase‐selective growth of atomically thin silver. Plasma‐generated boundary defects favor Ag(1), whereas sp3‐rich zero‐layer graphene promotes Ag(2). This defect‐directed intercalation links local graphene chemistry to crystalline phase, electronic structure ...

ABSTRACT Single‐stranded DNA (ssDNA) solutions are promising innovations shaping the future of genetic research and medical therapies. In principle, biotechnological mass production of ssDNA can be achieved using Escherichia coli in a high‐cell density fed‐batch process by secreting phagemid particles derived from the filamentous M13 bacteriophages ...
