B Cell Activation in Insulin Resistance and Obesity [PDF]
Our group has demonstrated that inflammatory diseases such as type 2 diabetes (DM), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and periodontal disease (PD) are associated with altered B cell function that may contribute to disease pathogenesis. B cells were found

Matrix Stiffness Governs Fibroblasts’ Regulation of Gingival Immune Homeostasis
This study identifies a “mechano‐epigenetic” checkpoint in which matrix stiffness governs the immune responses of gingival fibroblasts. Using biomimetic hydrogels and human gingival explants, the studies revealed that restoring extracellular matrix stiffness actively suppresses inflammation via non‐canonical NF‐κB signaling and DNA methylation ...

Association between polymorphisms of IL33 and IL37 and atopic dermatitis
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic recurrent inflammatory disease accompanied by severe itching. One of the leading mechanisms underlying the development of AD is an imbalance of the Th1/Th2 cells immune response, which leads to an increased production ...

CD44 Suppresses TLR-Mediated Inflammation [PDF]
Abstract The cell adhesion molecule CD44, which is the major hyaluronan receptor, has been implicated in the binding, endocytosis, and metabolism of hyaluronan. Previous studies have revealed that CD44 plays crucial roles in a variety of inflammatory diseases.

Wedelolactone (WED), a natural TLR2 agonist, promotes neutrophil differentiation and enhances bactericidal function, offering a potential therapeutic strategy for neutropenia. Using a multi‐omics approach, this study reveals that WED activates the TLR2/MEK/ERK pathway, upregulating key transcription factors (PU.1, CEBPβ) to drive neutrophil development.

Local magnetic moments and electronic transport in closed loop quantum dot systems: a case of quadruple quantum dot ring at and away from equilibrium [PDF]
We apply the non-equilibrium functional renormalization group approach treating flow of the electronic self-energies, to describe local magnetic moments formation and electronic transport in a quadruple quantum dot (QQD) ring, coupled to leads, with ...

An autologous whole‐tumor‐cell vaccine (rWTC‐MBTA) is evaluated in murine CNS lymphoma. Subcutaneous vaccination activates dendritic cells, broadens T‐cell priming, and drives lymphocyte trafficking to brain tumors, producing durable tumor control. Longitudinal bioluminescence and adoptive‐transfer assays verify CNS engagement. Combination with anti‐PD‐
