A Microbiota‐ and IL‐15‐Dependent Innate‐Like B Cell Progenitor Expressing E4BP4
Advanced Science, EarlyView. This work identifies CD3.NKp46.CD19.NK1.1. NK‐B cells enriched in PDK1‐deficient yet present in wild‐type bone marrow. IL‐15 (via CD122) and TLR9‐microbiota signaling maintain their E4BP4 expression. These cells demonstrate innate immunity, preferentially differentiate into B cells, and unveil a novel microbiota‐ and IL‐15‐dependent regulatory pathway ...Junming He, Xinlei Hou, Xiaomei Feng, Yayun Dong, Mengqi Ren, Surong Deng, Xinru Yang, Donglin Chen, Lingna Zhao, Shasha Chen, Meixiang Yang, Zhongjun Dong +11 morewiley +1 more sourceFolic Acid‐Modified Ginger‐Derived Exosome‐Like Nanoparticles Co‐Delivering Sunitinib Suppress Renal Cell Carcinoma via PI3K‐Akt Pathway Inhibition, P‐gp Downregulation, and Macrophage Reprogramming
Advanced Science, EarlyView.FPD‐GELNs co‐deliver Su and bioactive components. This active‐passive dual‐targeting strategy suppresses the progression of RCC through the following mechanisms: 1) inhibition of the PI3K‐Akt signaling pathway; 2) downregulation of ABCB1/P‐gp to enhance the chemosensitivity of RCC to Su; and 3) reprogramming of macrophages toward M1 polarization and ...Haoyu Xu, Daixing Hu, Shixue Liu, Lei Yang, Junwu Li, Yuanyuan Bai, Guozhi Zhao, Wei Tang, Li Jiang +8 morewiley +1 more sourceMyD88 and TLR4 Expression in Epithelial Ovarian Cancer [PDF]

Advanced Science, EarlyView. This study develops a Mg‐H‐SPEEK implant with NIR‐switchable immunomodulatory properties. Under NIR, it promotes M1 macrophages for antibacterial action; without NIR, it induces M2 reprogramming to enhance tissue healing. This dual‐function material offers a smart strategy for reducing infection and improving integration in percutaneous implants ...Yinghao Wu, Shuaiqi Jiang, Jibing He, Ji Tan, Junjie Zhou, Zhipeng Zou, Jiaxing Wang, Jia Jiang, Xuanyong Liu, Xiaochun Peng +9 morewiley +1 more sourceGenetically‐Programmed Hypervesiculation of Lactiplantibacillus Plantarum Increases Production of Bacterial Extracellular Vesicles with Therapeutic Efficacy in a Preclinical Inflammatory Bowel Disease Model
Advanced Science, EarlyView. The development of a novel engineered strain of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum (Lp) is reported that can produce bacterial extracellular vesicles (BEVs) at >60‐fold higher yields than the unmodified parental strain. These Lp BEVs retain therapeutic bioactivity as validated in a mouse model of dextran sodium sulfate‐induced colitis.Nicholas H Pirolli, Daniel Levy, Alyssa Schledwitz, Natalia Sampaio Moura, Mitali Sarkar, Talia J. Advanced Science, EarlyView.Deletion of ASAH2 in intestinal epithelial cells induces the accumulation of ganglioside GD3 via regulating ST8SIA1. GD3 is identified as the glycolipid ligand for the inhibitory receptor Siglec‐E on macrophages. GD3/Siglec‐E ligation polarizes macrophages and promotes the proliferation of colonic ST2+ T regulatory cells via the induction of IL‐33.
