High‐Throughput Exfoliation of Optoelectronic‐Grade MoS2 via Turbulent‐Flow Wet Jet Milling

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable wet jet milling exfoliation method is demonstrated for producing optoelectronic‐grade MoS2 nanosheets using environmentally friendly ethyl cellulose in ethanol dispersion media. Guided by fluid dynamics modeling, this approach is optimized to achieve record‐high exfoliation throughput and concentration.

Tetramethylpyrazine inhibits ferroptosis in spinal cord injury by regulating iron metabolism through the NRF2/ARE pathway

open access: yesFrontiers in Pharmacology
BackgroundTetramethylpyrazine (TMP) is a natural alkaloid compound with antioxidant and neuroprotective effects. We hypothesized that TMP could exert neuroprotective effects by inhibiting ferroptosis through modulating iron metabolism, but its mechanism ...

In vitro reduction of enamel erosion by sugarcane-derived cystatin associated with sodium trimetaphosphate [PDF]

open access: yesBrazilian Oral Research
The objective of this in vitro study was to assess the efficacy of CaneCPI-5, either alone or in combination with various concentrations of sodium trimetaphosphate (TMP) in protecting against initial enamel erosion. A total of 135 bovine enamel specimens

An international, multicentre evaluation and description of Burkholderia pseudomallei infection in cystic fibrosis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
BACKGROUND: Several cases of Burkholderia pseudomallei infection in CF have been previously reported. We aimed to identify all cases globally, risk factors for acquisition, clinical consequences, and optimal treatment strategies.

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Tetramethylpyrazine and paeoniflorin combination (TMP-PF) alleviates atherosclerosis progress by reducing hyperlipemia and inhibiting plaque angiogenesis via the NR4A1/VEGFR2 pathway

open access: yesFood Science and Human Wellness
Atherosclerosis remains a great threat to human health worldwide. Previous studies found that tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) and paeonif lorin (PF) combination (TMP-PF) exerts anti-atherosclerotic effects in vitro.

Measurement of anisotropy of dark matter velocity distribution using directional detection

open access: yes, 2017
Although the velocity distribution of dark matter is assumed to be generally isotropic, some studies have found that $\sim\hspace{-0.1cm}25$\% of the distribution can have anisotropic components.
