Error-Tolerating Bell Inequalities via Graph States [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
We investigate the Bell inequalities derived from the graph states with violations detectable even with the presence of noises, which generalizes the idea of error-correcting Bell inequalities [Phys. Rev. Lett. 101, 080501 (2008)]. Firstly we construct a family of valid Bell inequalities tolerating arbitrary $t$-qubit errors involving $3(t+1)$ qubits ...

Drought Stress Tolerance in Wheat and Barley: Advances in Physiology, Breeding and Genetics Research

open access: yesInternational Journal of Molecular Sciences, 2019
Climate change is a major threat to most of the agricultural crops grown in tropical and sub-tropical areas globally. Drought stress is one of the consequences of climate change that has a negative impact on crop growth and yield.

Tolerance to arbitrage

open access: yesStochastic Processes and their Applications, 1998
AbstractAn arbitrage opportunity is constructed in a frictionless stock market when price processes have continuous sample paths of bounded p-variation with p∈[1,2).

Multidimensional OMICs reveal ARID1A orchestrated control of DNA damage, splicing, and cell cycle in normal‐like and malignant urothelial cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the frequently mutated chromatin remodeler ARID1A, a subunit of the SWI/SNF cBAF complex, results in less open chromatin, alternative splicing, and the failure to stop cells from progressing through the cell cycle after DNA damage in bladder (cancer) cells. Created in BioRender. Epigenetic regulators, such as the SWI/SNF complex, with important

Maternal-fetal conflict averted by progesterone- induced FOXP3+ regulatory T cells

open access: yesiScience, 2022
Summary: Pregnancy stimulates an intricately coordinated assortment of physiological changes to accommodate growth of the developing fetus, while simultaneously averting rejection of genetically foreign fetal cells and tissues.

Pyrosequencing Approach for SNP Genotyping in Plants Using a M13 Biotinylated Primer

open access: yesBio-Protocol, 2015
Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs), which constitute single base-pair variations in the DNA sequence, are the most abundant molecular markers in plant and animal genomes.

Boolean Logic with Fault Tolerant Coding [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
Error detectable and error correctable coding in Hamming space was researched to discover possible fault tolerant coding constellations, which can implement Boolean logic with fault tolerant property. Basic logic operators of the Boolean algebra were developed to apply fault tolerant coding in the logic circuits.

Tolerance and Resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa Biofilms to Antimicrobial Agents—How P. aeruginosa Can Escape Antibiotics

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology, 2019
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is one of the six bacterial pathogens, Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Enterobacter spp., which are commonly associated with antimicrobial ...

Escape from TGF‐β‐induced senescence promotes aggressive hallmarks in epithelial hepatocellular carcinoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Chronic TGF‐β exposure drives epithelial HCC cells from a senescent state to a TGF‐β resistant mesenchymal phenotype. This transition is characterized by the loss of Smad3‐mediated signaling, escape from senescence, enhanced invasiveness and metastatic potential, and upregulation of key resistance modulators such as MARK1 and GRM8, ultimately promoting

ShcD adaptor protein drives invasion of triple negative breast cancer cells by aberrant activation of EGFR signaling

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identified adaptor protein ShcD as upregulated in triple‐negative breast cancer and found its expression to be correlated with reduced patient survival and increased invasion in cell models. Using a proteomic screen, we identified novel ShcD binding partners involved in EGFR signaling pathways.
