Pyrosequencing Approach for SNP Genotyping in Plants Using a M13 Biotinylated Primer
Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs), which constitute single base-pair variations in the DNA sequence, are the most abundant molecular markers in plant and animal genomes.

In this paper definitions are given for three types of tolerance regions. For distribution-free tolerance regions, an analytic condition is derived for the characteristic function of the region. Examples of the application of the condition are considered.

A subset of MMR‐proficient colon cancers responds to neoadjuvant immunotherapy
Tan et al. reveal that a distinct subset of early‐stage pMMR colon cancers can respond to neoadjuvant immunotherapy. In the NICHE‐2 trial, responders (26%) were characterized by chromosomal instability, TP53 mutations, and proliferative cell‐cycle programs, whereas nonresponders showed metabolic and stromal reprogramming with TGF‐β‐driven ...

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Acetic acid: a cheap but chief metabolic regulator for abiotic stress tolerance in plants
As sessile organisms, plants constantly face a variety of abiotic stresses, such as drought, salinity, and metal/metalloid toxicity, all of which possess significant threats to plant growth and yield potential.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

Emerging Strategies for Aflatoxin Resistance in Peanuts via Precision Breeding
Aflatoxin contamination, primarily caused by Aspergillus flavus, poses a significant threat to peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) production, food safety, and global trade. Despite extensive efforts, breeding for durable resistance remains difficult due to the

Redox regulation meets metabolism: targeting PRDX2 to prevent hepatocellular carcinoma
PRDX2 acts as a central redox hub linking metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatohepatitis (MASH) to hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). In normal hepatocytes, PRDX2 maintains redox balance and metabolic homeostasis under oxidative stress. In contrast, during malignant transformation, PRDX2 promotes oncogenic signaling, stemness, and tumor initiation ...
