Covalent Organic Frameworks for Water Sorption: The Importance of Framework Physical Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores the water‐vapor stability of 2D covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with varying pore sizes. Results reveal microporous COFs demonstrate superior stability compared to mesoporous ones, despite lower water uptake. Mesoporous keto‐enamine‐linked COFs show enhanced stability due to intralayer hydrogen bonds, confirmed by simulations and

Parabolic Whittaker Functions and Topological Field Theories I

open access: yes, 2010
First, we define a generalization of the standard quantum Toda chain inspired by a construction of quantum cohomology of partial flags spaces GL(\ell+1)/P, P a parabolic subgroup. Common eigenfunctions of the parabolic quantum Toda chains are generalized

Invertible topological field theories

open access: yesJournal of Topology
AbstractA ‐dimensional invertible topological field theory (TFT) is a functor from the symmetric monoidal ‐category of ‐bordisms (embedded into and equipped with a tangential ‐structure) that lands in the Picard subcategory of the target symmetric monoidal ‐category.

Phase Change Material‐Driven Tunable Metasurface for Adaptive Terahertz Sensing and Communication in 6G Perceptive Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores the benefits of metasurfaces made from functional materials, highlighting their ability to be adapted and improved for various high‐frequency applications, including communications and sensing. It first demonstrates the potential of these functional material‐based metasurfaces to advance the field of sub‐THz perceptive networks ...

Galois conjugation and multiboundary entanglement entropy

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We revisit certain natural algebraic transformations on the space of 3D topological quantum field theories (TQFTs) called “Galois conjugations.” Using a notion of multiboundary entanglement entropy (MEE) defined for TQFTs on compact 3-manifolds with ...

S-duality resurgence in SL(2) Chern-Simons theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We find that an S-duality in SL(2) Chern-Simons theory for hyperbolic 3-manifolds emerges by the Borel resummation of a semiclassical expansion around a particular flat connection associated to the hyperbolic structure. We demonstrate it numerically with

Construction of topological field theories using BV

open access: yes, 1993
We discuss in detail the construction of topological field theories using the Batalin--Vilkovisky (BV) quantisation scheme. By carefully examining the dependence of the antibracket on an external metric, we show that differentiating with respect to the ...

Multifunctional Microstructured Surfaces by Microcontact Printing of Reactive Microgels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Reactive poly(N‐vinylcaprolactam‐co‐glycidyl methacrylate) microgels are used as functional inks to create surface‐grafted arrays on glass via microcontact printing. The patterns (10–50 µm widths and spacings) enable stable binding and post‐functionalization with dyes and peptides.

Exact Lattice Supersymmetry from Topological Field Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We discuss the connection between supersymmetric field theories and topological field theories and show how this connection may be used to construct local lattice field theories which maintain an exact supersymmetry.
