ON THE GENUS EXPANSION IN THE TOPOLOGICAL STRING THEORY [PDF]
A systematic formulation of the higher genus expansion in topological string theory is considered. We also develop a simple way of evaluating genus zero correlation functions. At higher genera we derive some interesting formulas for the free energy in the A1 and A2 models.

Decoding Spatial Heterogeneity and Multi‐Omics Regulation with Hierarchical Graph Learning
ABSTRACT Recent advances in spatial multi‐omics technologies have enabled the simultaneous profiling of multiple molecular layers within the same tissue slice, providing unprecedented opportunities to investigate tissue spatial organization. However, most existing computational methods identify spatial domains in a purely data‐driven manner, rarely ...

Resonances and PT symmetry in quantum curves
In the correspondence between spectral problems and topological strings, it is natural to consider complex values for the string theory moduli. In the spectral theory side, this corresponds to non-Hermitian quantum curves with complex spectra and ...

Topology‐Aware Deep Learning on Higher‐Order Structures for Drug Response Prediction
We present TopDr, a topology‐aware deep learning framework that encodes both drugs and cell lines as multiscale simplicial complexes, capturing interactions at the 0‐, 1‐, and 2‐simplex levels. By jointly integrating local higher‐order neighborhoods and global topological structures, TopDr generates enriched representations for sensitivity prediction ...

A CMB Millikan experiment with cosmic axiverse strings
We study axion strings of hyperlight axions coupled to photons. Hyperlight axions — axions lighter than Hubble at recombination — are a generic prediction of the string axiverse.

Quantum periods and TBA-like equations for a class of Calabi-Yau geometries
We continue the study of a novel relation between quantum periods and TBA(Thermodynamic Bethe Ansatz)-like difference equations, generalize previous works to a large class of Calabi-Yau geometries described by three-term quantum operators.

This review explores the convergence of artificial intelligence technologies in modeling drug–drug and drug–target interactions. By evaluating advanced feature engineering, architectural innovations, and learning paradigms reveals shared evolutionary trends and critical challenges, such as cold‐start settings and shortcut learning.

Blowup equations for refined topological strings
Göttsche-Nakajima-Yoshioka K-theoretic blowup equations characterize the Nekrasov partition function of five dimensional N = 1 $$ \mathcal{N}=1 $$ supersymmetric gauge theories compactified on a circle, which via geometric engineering correspond to the ...

SMAD4 is identified as a guardian of 3D genome architecture in lung squamous cell carcinoma. Loss of SMAD4 unleashes EP300 at chromatin loop anchors, strengthening enhancer–promoter looping and H3K27ac at the SOX2 locus to drive aberrant SOX2 activation and tumor cell proliferation.

We introduce a two-dimensional sigma model associated with a Jacobi manifold. The model is a generalisation of a Poisson sigma model providing a topological open string theory.
