Topology Control Algorithm of Underwater Sensor Network Based on Potential-Game and Optimal Rigid Sub-Graph

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Aiming at the problems of unbalanced energy consumption, redundant links, short life cycle in underwater sensor networks, a topology control algorithm for underwater wireless sensor networks based on potential-game and optimal rigid sub-graph is proposed.

On Weak Topology for Optimal Control of Switched Nonlinear Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Optimal control of switched systems is challenging due to the discrete nature of the switching control input. The embedding-based approach addresses this challenge by solving a corresponding relaxed optimal control problem with only continuous inputs ...

Diffusion Spectrum Imaging Maps Early Axonal Loss and a Unique Progressive Signal in Neuronal Intranuclear Inclusion Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To delineate specific in vivo white matter pathology in neuronal intranuclear inclusion disease (NIID) using diffusion spectrum imaging (DSI) and define its clinical relevance. Methods DSI was performed on 42 NIID patients and 38 matched controls.

On Diagnosis of Forwarding Plane via Static Forwarding Rules in Software Defined Networks

open access: yes, 2013
Software Defined Networks (SDN) decouple the forwarding and control planes from each other. The control plane is assumed to have a global knowledge of the underlying physical and/or logical network topology so that it can monitor, abstract and control ...

A Depolarizing Leak in Sodium Bicarbonate Cotransporter NBCe1 Causes Brain Edema

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives SLC4A4 encodes electrogenic sodium bicarbonate cotransporter NBCe1, prominently expressed in kidney and brain. Recessive loss‐of‐function variants in SLC4A4 cause proximal renal tubular acidosis, no brain edema. In the brain, NBCe1 is expressed by astrocytes, where it regulates pH and mediates astrocyte volume changes.

Analysis of AC link topologies in non-isolated DC/DC triple active bridge converter for current stress minimization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This paper presents analysis of the non-isolated DC/DC triple active bridge (TAB) converter under various purely inductor-based AC link topologies. The objective of the analysis is to find the topology that incorporates the least value of the AC link ...

Effectiveness of rTMS on Working Memory and Inhibitory Impairments in Patients With Post‐Stroke Executive Deficits

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Considerable efforts have been dedicated to developing effective treatments for post‐stroke executive impairment (PSEI), among which repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) has shown great potential. This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of high‐frequency rTMS on working memory (WM) and response ...
