Dana Torque Vectoring Differential Dynamic Trak™
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2004<div class="htmlview paragraph">This paper presents a novel torque-vectoring (biasing) differential system Dynamic Trak™ that can be applied to both the inter-axle and the inter-wheel differential systems. The Dynamic Trak™ has three multi-plate clutches.

Torque Vectoring Control for Fully Electric SAE Cars
2020Fully electric vehicles with individually controlled powertrains can achieve significantly enhanced vehicle response, in particular by means of Torque Vectoring Control (TVC). This paper presents a TVC strategy for a Formula SAE (FSAE) fully electric vehicle, the “T-ONE” car designed by “UninaCorse E-team” of the University of Naples Federico II ...

Torque vectors of neck muscles in the cat
Experimental Brain Research, 1991Anatomical texts describe the neck musculature without measurements of muscle locations or quantitative estimates of pulling actions (torques). This study is based on measurements in stereotaxic coordinates of cat neck muscle origins and insertions, and neck intervertebral rotation axes.

Torque vectoring with electro-hydraulic actuation
ATZ worldwide, 2008The importance of electronically controlled systems in the chassis and drivetrain is increasing. The associated products have the aims of improving not only safety aspects but also driving pleasure, with end customers laying not inconsiderable weight on the potential to define the driving experience through the components’ influence.

Successive Linearization Based Predictive Vehicle Torque Vectoring
2019 International Conference on Electrical Drives & Power Electronics (EDPE), 2019In this paper, a linear time-varying model predictive torque vectoring controller is proposed. The controller is based on the non- linear two-track model of the vehicle and TMEasy tire model with neglected load transfer. The model is linearized along the trajectory over the prediction horizon.

The vector alignments of asteroid spins by thermal torques
Nature, 2003Collisions have been thought to be the dominant process altering asteroid rotations, but recent observations of the Koronis family of asteroids suggest that this may be incorrect. This group of asteroids was formed in a catastrophic collision several billion years ago; in the intervening period their rotational axes should have become nearly random ...

Brake Based Torque Vectoring for Sport Vehicle Performance Improvement
SAE International Journal of Passenger Cars - Mechanical Systems, 2008<div class="htmlview paragraph">The most common automotive drivelines transmit the engine torque to the driven axle through a differential. Semi-active versions of this device ([<span class="xref">4</span>], [<span class="xref">5</span>], [<span class="xref">6</span>]) have been recently conceived to improve ...

Torque-Vectoring Driveline for Electric Vehicles
2012The range of electric vehicles is limited due to the battery capacity. As a result of high prices for batteries as well as a rising weight using additional battery modules, both the feasible level of electric recuperation and the efficiency of the system have to be as high as possible.

Direct Torque with Fuzzy Logic Torque Ripple Reduction Based Stator Flux Vector Control
2009 Second International Conference on Computer and Electrical Engineering, 2009The major disadvantages of the conventional direct torque control (DTC) drive is the steady state ripples in torque and flux Using space vector control (SVM) method reduce the torque and stator flux ripples. In this paper, the use of SVM technique, a torque fuzzy controller is proposed to improve DTC performance and reduce significantly torque ripple ...
