Respirology Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2026.Here we report a case of PVL‐negative MSSA necrotizing pneumonia in a previously healthy man that rapidly progressed to cavitary lesions and refractory pneumothorax. Despite its improvement after clindamycin‐based therapy, the patient experienced recurrent pneumothorax and chronic respiratory failure.
