Ecology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 6, June 2025.Mountains are an ideal context to study species community and adaptation in relation to environmental changes such as temperature. Cixidae show niche conservatism at high altitude, with conserved forewing size and shape. Conversely, size and shape variations of forewings of Achilidae and Derbidae traduce an adaptation to high altitudes.
