Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

An inflationary differential evolution algorithm for space trajectory optimization

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper we define a discrete dynamical system that governs the evolution of a population of agents. From the dynamical system, a variant of Differential Evolution is derived.

Multiconstrained Ascent Trajectory Optimization Using an Improved Particle Swarm Optimization Method

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2021
This paper researches the ascent trajectory optimization problem in view of multiple constraints that effect on the launch vehicle. First, a series of common constraints that effect on the ascent trajectory are formulated for the trajectory optimization ...

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Utilizing UAVs in Wireless Networks: Advantages, Challenges, Objectives, and Solution Methods

open access: yesVehicles
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have emerged as a promising technology to enhance the performance and functionality of mobile networks. UAVs can act as flying base stations, relays, or users to provide wireless services to ground users or devices ...

Fast Trajectory Generation Method for Midcourse Guidance Based on Convex Optimization

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2022
To generate the midcourse guidance trajectory for intercepting the high-speed and high maneuvering target, which is a strongly nonlinear and strongly constrained problem, a two-stage convex optimization method is proposed to solve the optimal trajectory ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Regularity of the Hamiltonian Along Optimal Trajectories [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, 2015
This paper concerns state constrained optimal control problems, in which the dynamic constraint takes the form of a differential inclusion. If the differential inclusion does not depend on time, then the Hamiltonian, evaluated along the optimal state trajectory and the co-state trajectory, is independent of time.

On the geometry of Zermelo's optimal control trajectories

open access: yesAUT Journal of Mathematics and Computing, 2022
In the present work, we study the optimal control paths in the Zermelo navigation problem from the geometric and differential equations point of view rather than the optimal control point of view, where the latter has been carried out in our recent work.

Automatic Vertical Parking Reference Trajectory Based on Improved Immune Shark Smell Optimization

open access: yesAlgorithms
Parking path optimization is the principal problem of automatic vertical parking (AVP); however, it is difficult to determine a collision avoiding, smooth, and accurate optimized parking path using traditional parking reference trajectory optimization ...
