Crystal structure of 9-methacryloylanthracene
In the title compound, C18H14O, with systematic name 1-(anthracen-9-yl)-2-methylprop-2-en-1-one, the ketonic C atom lies 0.2030 (16) Å out of the anthryl-ring-system plane. The dihedral angle between the planes of the anthryl and methacryloyl moieties is

Derivable affine planes and translation planes
Let \(\mathcal A\) be an affine plane, \(\overline {\mathcal A}\) its projective extension, and \(W\) the line at infinity. Choose a non-trivial subset \(D \subset W\), and denote by \({\mathcal G}_D\) the set of all lines intersecting \(W\) in a point of~\(D\), by \({\mathcal B}_D\) the set of all Baer subplanes whose line at infinity consists exactly

Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Further translation planes of order 192 admitting SL(2,5), obtained by nest replacement
We construct three translation planes of order 192 admitting SL(2,5), obtained by replacement of 24-nests of reguli in PG(3,19).

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Inherited Groups and Kernels of Derived Translation Planes
When an affine plane is converted to another plane by derivation, the point permutations which act as collineations of both planes form the inherited group. The full group can be larger than the inherited group.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

A characterisation of thas maximal arcs in translation planes of square order
In 1974 J.A. Thas constructed a class of maximal arcs in certain translation planes of order q2. We characterise these as being exactly those (non-trivial) maximal arcs that are stabilised by an homology of order q ...
