Deciphering the Oncogenic Landscape of Hepatocytes Through Integrated Single‐Nucleus and Bulk RNA‐Seq of Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 14, April 10, 2025.
By combining snRNA‐seq and bulk RNA‐seq, this study identified key hepatocyte subtypes, genes, and pathways in HCC. It established a Quantile Distribution Model, providing potential targets for HCC diagnosis and treatment. It categorized HCC into metabolic, inflammatory, and matrix classes, each with sensitive drugs identified.

Dissecting the Spatial and Single‐Cell Transcriptomic Architecture of Cancer Stem Cell Niche Driving Tumor Progression in Gastric Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 18, May 15, 2025.
A single‐cell and spatial transcriptional atlas reveals the architecture of human gastric cancer stem cell (CSC) niche and the developmental trajectory of CSCs. These CSCs interact with immunosuppressive immune cells thereby constructing immune‐suppressive niche, and inflammatory cancer‐associated fibroblast (iCAFs) to enhance stemness through ...

Advances in Fecal Microbiota Transplantation for Gut Dysbiosis‐Related Diseases

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 13, April 3, 2025.
This article reviews the use of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) to treat intestinal diseases like recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection (rCDI), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It discusses FMT's efficacy, influencing factors such as donor selection, recipient characteristics, and treatment protocols ...
