Synthesis of heparosan oligosaccharides by Pasteurella multocida PmHS2 single-action transferases [PDF]
Pasteurella multocida heparosan synthase PmHS2 is a dual action glycosyltransferase that catalyzes the polymerization of heparosan polymers in a non-processive manner.

Enzymatic Synthesis of a Novel Trisaccharide, Glucosyl Lactoside [PDF]
Cyclomaltodextrin glucanotransferase from Bacillus stearothermophilus produced a series of oligosaccharides by the transglycosylation reaction with cyclomaltohexaose as a glycosyl donor and D-lactose as its acceptor. The content of oligosaccharide A as the main transfer product was 22.1% of the total sugar.

Dehydration‐driven organization of metabolites into NaDES‐like assemblies in orthodox seeds
Summary Desiccation tolerance in plants, especially during orthodox seed dehydration, relies on compatible solute accumulation, complex molecular mechanisms, and intermolecular organizations that remain poorly understood. We combined metabolite profiling, mass spectrometry imaging, and electrospray and cold‐spray ionization mass spectrometry to ...

ABSTRACT Carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus) contains abundant flavonoid glycosides (FGs), which are important natural functional and colour components. However, there are few reports on the modification of UDP‐glycosyltransferases (UGTs) in relation to flavonoids in carnation.

Structural basis of secreted acid phosphatase polymerization in the Leishmania parasite
Abstract Enzymes that assemble into filaments typically transition between protomeric and polymeric states in response to cellular conditions. In contrast, the secreted acid phosphatase (SAP) of Leishmania, one of the most abundant extracellular glycoproteins produced by the parasite and regarded as a major virulence factor in the neglected tropical ...
