Triterpenes and triterpene glycosides from Paradrymonia macrophylla

Phytochemistry, 1996
Abstract Seven pentacyclic triterpenes and triterpene glycosides have been isolated from the stems and roots of Paradrymonia macrophylla and their structures elucidated by means of 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. Three of them are described for the first time as natural products, namely: 2α,3β,19α-trihydroxy-24-oxo-urs-12-en-28-oic acid (24-epi ...

Triterpene glycosides ofSapindus mukorossi

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 1970
The structure of two triterpone glycosides fromSapindus mukorossi Gaertn. has been established. It has been shown that sapindoside A is hederagenin 3-O-α-L-arabinosyl-(2 → 1)-α-L-rhamnopyranoside and sapindoside B is the 3-O-α-L-arabopyranosyl-(2 → 1)-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(3→ 1)-β-D-xylopyranoside.

Triterpene glycosides of Lupinus angustifolius

Phytochemistry, 2002
Investigation of whole seeds of Lupinus angustifolius L. (Leguminosae) yielded the two triterpenoid saponins with branched monosaccharide chain 3 beta,21 beta,22 beta,24-tetrahydroxyolean-12-en-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->3)-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucuronopyranoside (3) and 3 beta,21 beta,22 beta ...

Triterpene glycosides ofHedera helix III. Structure of the triterpene sulfates and their glycosides

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 1999
From the leaves of English ivyHedera helix L. we have isolated the known 3-sulfates of oleanolic and echinocystic acids and their 28-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl esters and the new 3-sulfate of 28-O-β-gentiobiosyl oleanolate — helicoside L-8a.

Triterpene Glycosides fromAstragalus angustifolius

Planta Medica, 2012
Six new cycloartane-type (1- 6) and four new oleanane-type (7- 10) triterpene glycosides were isolated from Astragalus angustifolius Lam., together with five known triterpene glycosides. Their structures were established by the extensive use of 1D and 2D-NMR experiments along with ESIMS and HRMS analysis.

Radioimniunoassay of Aescine, a Mixture of Triterpene Glycosides

Journal of Immunoassay, 1990
A radioimmunoassay (RIA) has been developed for the determination of picogram amounts of aescine, an anti-inflammatory and anti-oedematous glycoside mixture from unpurified extracts of Aesculus hippocastanum. Practically no interference is observed for various potentially crossreacting compounds.

Triterpenes and triterpene glycosides from the leaves of Ilex rotunda

Phytochemistry, 1993
Abstract Two new triterpenes, ilexolic acid A and B, and seven new saponins, ilexosides XXXIII–XXXIX, together with the known saponin rotungenoside were isolated from the fresh leaves of Ilex rotunda , and their structures elucidated on the basis of chemical and physicochemical evidence.

Triterpene glycosides of Caltha silvestris

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 1972
It has been established that calthoside D is hederagenin 3-[O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-α-L-arabopyranoside] and is identical with caulosaponin B.

Triterpene glycosides ofGypsophilla trichotoma

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 1970
The plantGypsophilla trichotoma Wend. has been found to contain four triterpene glycosides, which have been called “trichosides” A, B, C, and D. Trichoside D has been isolated in the individual state. It has been shown that its aglycone is gypsogenin. The carbohydrate chain attached to the hydroxyl at C3 contains D-galactose, L-arabinose, D-xylose, and
