The Impact of Rivaroxaban and Apixaban on Tacrolimus Trough Levels

Progress in Transplantation, 2021
The solid organ transplant community is slow to adopt the routine practice of using direct oral anticoagulants. Rivaroxaban and apixaban share common metabolic pathways with tacrolimus. This study aimed to clarify the impact of rivaroxaban/apixaban on tacrolimus troughs.

Convective destabilization by upper‐level troughs

Quarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, 2000
AbstractThe approach of an upper‐level trough is accompanied by a local ascent of the isentropic surfaces in the troposphere. The associated cooling and moistening destabilizes the atmosphere to convection. In this paper we attempt to quantify the maximum amount of destabilization as a function of the amplitude and horizontal scale of the trough.

Lupus-anticoagulant testing at NOAC trough levels

Thrombosis and Haemostasis, 2016
SummaryNon-vitamin K antagonist oral anticoagulants (NOAC), including rivaroxaban, apixaban or dabigatran, regularly show relevant effects on coagulation tests, making the interpretation of results difficult. The aim of this study was to evaluate possible interferences of NOACs in trough level concentrations in lupus anticoagulant (LA) testing. Citrate
