Identification of Trypsinogen in the Lipotropic Fraction.

SummaryThe postulation that the lipotropic fraction prepared by Bosshardt et al. (2) contained trypsinogen has been confirmed by a direct analysis. In view of this finding, it is no longer necessary to ascribe an additional new activity to enterokinase.

TGM2 Aggravates Acute Pancreatitis by Impairing Macrophage Efferocytosis Through Inhibition of the STAT6–GAS6 Axis

This study shows TGM2 is upregulated in AP, impairing macrophage efferocytosis by inhibiting the STAT6–GAS6 axis. The lactoferrin‐modified, ROS‐responsive LF‐LNP@si‐TGM2 targets pancreatic macrophages, silences TGM2, restores the axis, and alleviates AP.

Partially folded intermediates during trypsinogen denaturation

The equilibrium unfolding of bovine trypsinogen was studied by circular dichroism, differential spectra and size exclusion HPLC. The change in free energy of denaturation was = 6.99 ± 1.40 kcal/mol for guanidine hydrochloride and = 6.37 ± 0.57 kcal/mol
