Expression of cancer-associated fibroblast-related proteins in adipose stroma of breast cancer
Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) play key roles in tumor microenvironment; they are thought to originate from adipocytes. This study aimed to evaluate CAF-related protein expression and its implications in breast cancer.

Tumor‐associated inflammation retains antibody‐targeted or non‐specific antibody conjugated nanoparticles within the tumor microenvironment. Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) enables non‐invasive detection and differentiation of tumors from other organs, owing to higher nanoparticle retention by inflammatory cells in the tumor periphery.

TWIST1 and TWIST2 promoter methylation and protein expression in tumor stroma influence the epithelial-mesenchymal transition-like tumor budding phenotype in colorectal cancer. [PDF]
Tumor budding in colorectal cancer is likened to an epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) characterized predominantly by loss of E-cadherin and up-regulation of E-cadherin repressors like TWIST1 and TWIST2.

AI‑guided single‑cell transcriptomics identifies OGT as a key regulator enriched in rheumatoid arthritis fibroblast‑like synoviocytes (RA‐FLSs). Inflammatory stimuli activate the OGT–SAP130 axis, which modulates the H3K27ac/H3K27me3 balance and epigenetically silences BTG2, promoting aggressive transformation of RA‑FLSs.

TUBA1B is consistently upregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma and sustains malignant progression by stabilizing G3BP2. By restraining TRIM25‐associated K48‐linked ubiquitination, TUBA1B preserves the G3BP2–IκBα complex and basal NF‐κB/p65 activity. Concurrent TUBA1B/G3BP2 upregulation identifies an aggressive HCC subgroup with enhanced p65 activation ...

A novel humanized immune stroma PDX cancer model for therapeutic studies
Standard preclinical human tumor models lack a human tumor stroma. However, as stroma contributes to therapeutic resistance, the lack of human stroma may make current models less stringent for testing new therapies. To address this, using patient-derived

CAF‐derived exosomes deliver circFAD104 into TNBC cells, where it acts as a molecular scaffold that bridges the E3 ligase MARCHF8 and PGM1, promoting MARCHF8‐mediated K48‐linked ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of PGM1. Loss of PGM1 redirects glucose‐phosphate flux from glycogen synthesis toward glycolysis, thereby driving stemness, EMT, and ...

Validation and comparison of the molecular classifications of pancreatic carcinomas
Four molecular classifications of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), biologically and clinically relevant and based on gene expression profiles, were established in the recent years, including the Collisson’s, Moffitt’s (“tumor” and “stroma ...
