Applying online nano-UHPLC to proteomics [PDF]
Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) pushes the limits of feasible column designs by allowing higher operational pressure. Migrating from nano-HPLC to nano-UHPLC and coupling directly to a mass spectrometer requires alterations to the ...

Modified fast UHPLC method for quantification of soil amino sugars – improved sensitivity compared to the GC method [PDF]
Soil microbial necromass analysis through measurement of soil amino sugars is a common technique in soil science. Traditionally, the measurement is performed by aldononitrile acetate derivatization and gas chromatographic (GC) analysis. Long pretreatment

Resistant Peanut Genotype Reprograms Rhizosphere Metabolism to Enhance Bacterial Wilt Suppression
The resistant peanut genotype selectively recruits beneficial bacteria, which coincides with the activation of salicylic acid (SA)‐dependent systemic acquired resistance (SAR) against Ralstonia solanacearum. Keystone rhizosphere metabolites are positively correlated with both beneficial microbiome assembly and SAR gene expression.

PDIA6–SCD1 Axis Rewires Lipid Metabolism to Drive Gastric Cancer Progression
Protein disulfide isomerase A6 (PDIA6) is identified as an oncogenic driver in gastric cancer. PDIA6 directly binds and stabilizes SCD1 by limiting its ubiquitin–proteasome‐mediated degradation, thereby sustaining monounsaturated fatty acid (MUFA)‐enriched lipid homeostasis and lipid metabolic reprogramming.

Treatment‐resistant wounds caused by polymicrobial biofilms are refractory to conventional therapies due to the dense extracellular matrices. We developed μBLAST, a microblasting wound dressing that combines MnO2‐doped biosilica and a H2O2‐releasing mesh to generate localized oxygen microbubbles that mechanically disrupt biofilms.

All‐Flex Plasma Patch for In Vivo Delivery of Reactive Species
A fully flexible plasma patch enables stable, conformal treatment on complex biological surfaces and enhances transdermal delivery of reactive species. This platform achieves significant tumor suppression in vivo and reveals coordinated regulation of calcium signaling, metabolism, and programmed cell death, providing a promising strategy for safe and ...

ABSTRACT High‐fat diet (HFD)‐induced hepatic injury represents a pathology observed across vertebrates, yet the underlying mechanisms remain incompletely understood. Herein, the present study identifies phosphatidylethanolamine methyltransferase (Pemt), a key enzyme in phosphatidylcholine synthesis, as a critical regulator of mitochondrial homeostasis ...

The genome of Rhodococcus erythropolis D‐1 was analyzed by bioinformatic tools to mine a novel nonribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS) gene cluster. A nonribosomal peptide analog ZURJC5 associated with the NRPS was chemically synthesized. Through structure‐activity relationship studies, ZURJC28 was ultimately obtained and showed antibacterial activity ...

UHPLC method for determination of n-octanol / water partition coefficient of drug molecules of different structure [PDF]
A lipofilitás jól jellemezhető az n-oktanol/víz megoszlási hányadossal, amely meghatározására a hagyományos módszer a rázótölcséres eljárás. A megoszlási hányados meghatározására rengeteg egyéb módszer is létezik, köztük a kromatográfiás retenciós idő ...
