Fast protein digestion and identification using hybrid silica monolith based metal-ion chelately immobilized trypsin microreactor and uHPLC-MS/MS [PDF]
Fast protein digestion and identification are indispensable in mosr proteomic study.Immobilized enzyme microreactors, especially those based on monoliths, recently have been paid much attention due to the fast digestion speed and the avoidance of enzyme ...

A closed‐loop “Concentrate‐Destroy” strategy is presented for completely eliminating short‐chain and emerging PFAS, in which the new 3D PPy@P‐CF is used for efficiently concentrating PFAS and Cu2+‐mediated photodegradation is applied for the completely destroying PFAS in the sorbent regeneration eluent.

Development of an analytical method for the quantification of isoflavones in legumes by SPE-UHPLC-MS/MS [PDF]
Legumes include lentils, beans, chickpeas, fava beans, soy beans and others. Cultivated for thousands of years, they have played an important role in the traditional diets of many regions throughout the world. A new method, that consists of an extraction

Inhibition of KDELR2 in a small fraction of tumor cells generates sustainable immunogenic cell death conditions within the tumor microenvironment. These conditions promote the regression of tumors in a T cell independent manner. During regression, macrophages prime T cells that subsequently provide systemic protection against recurrence. The potency of

We present a chromosome‐level genome assembly of Siraitia grosvenorii and, through comparative genomics, uncover a conserved UGT73 tandem array driving triterpenoid saponin diversification in Cucurbitaceae. Crystalized SgUGT73AM30 further reveals the regioselectivity mechanism underlying its catalytic activity.

Adipocyte Myoglobin Is a Determinant of Energy Expenditure and a Potential Target to Limit Obesity
Myoglobin, known as a muscle oxygen‐carrying protein, is shown to play a key role in fat cells that burn energy. Loss of myoglobin reduces the body's ability to generate heat and increases obesity risk, while restoring it improves metabolism. The study identifies myoglobin as a regulator of fat burning and a potential target to enhance energy ...
