Kirjandusteoreetilise ühendvälja poole / Unified Theoretical Field Perspectives

open access: yesMethis: Studia Humaniora Estonica, 2013
Estonian cultural studies constitute a rich and promising area of research. This area is uniquely positioned to bring together the vast array of methodological approaches that increasingly have come to define our postmodern mindscape.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Holomorphic unified field theory of gravity and the standard model

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We present a single holomorphic framework in which gravity, all Standard Model interactions, and their couplings to charges and currents emerge from one geometric action on a four-complex dimensional manifold.

On the Propagation of Gravitational Waves in the Weyl Invariant Theory of Gravity

open access: yesUniverse
We revisit Weyl’s unified field theory, which arose in 1918, shortly after general relativity was discovered. As is well known, in order to extend the program of the geometrization of physics started by Einstein to include the electromagnetic field, H ...

SpinUpFlowDescriptor: A MATLAB toolbox for ferrofluids materials under moderate and high amplitude and frequency of magnetic rotating fields in a spin-up geometry

open access: yesSoftwareX, 2020
There is currently no unified theory for describing ferrofluid flow under a rotating magnetic field. Spin diffusion theory has been broadly studied. But it has been limited to scenarios of magnetic fields with low intensity, due to the approximations ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Affine Connection Representation of Gauge Fields

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2022
There are two ways to unify gravitational field and gauge field. One is to represent gravitational field as principal bundle connection, and the other is to represent gauge field as affine connection.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Unified Theory of Gravity and Electromagnetic Field

open access: yes, 2021
Solutions of unified theory equations of gravity and electromagnetism satisfy Einstein-Maxwell equation. Hence, solutions of the unified theory is Reissner-Nodstrom solution in vacuum.

Coordination, Geometrization, Unification. An Overview of the Reichenbach-Einstein Debate on the Unified Field Theory Program [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
The quest for a 'unified field theory,' which aimed to integrate gravitational and electromagnetic fields into a single field structure, spanned most of Einstein's professional life from 1919 until his death in 1955.
