Guaranteeing Uniform Ultimate Boundedness for Uncertain Systems Free of Matching Condition

IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, 2018
A fuzzy-based optimal approach to robust control design is proposed for interconnected uncertain systems with mismatching conditions, which were previously unavailable. The interconnected system contains uncertainty, which may include initial conditions, unknown system parameters and input disturbance.

An algorithm of uniform ultimate boundedness for a class of switched linear systems

International Journal of Control, 2002
Uniform ultimate boundedness of a class of switched linear systems is studied. A switched linear system in this class consists of m subsystems, and none of the individual subsystems need to be stabilizable. The switched linear system is shown to be uniformly ultimately bounded for any pre-given bound if the union of individual controllable subspaces ...

An algorithm of uniform ultimate boundeduess for switched linear systems

SMC'03 Conference Proceedings. 2003 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics. Conference Theme - System Security and Assurance (Cat. No.03CH37483), 2004
Uniform ultimate boundedness of a new class of switched linear systems is considered. A switched linear system in this class consists of m subsystems, and none of the individual subsystems need to be stabilizable. The switched linear system is shown to be uniformly ultimately bounded for any pre-given bound if the combination of controllable components

Uniform Ultimate Boundedness of Event-Triggered Control for Time-Varying Nonlinear Systems

2018 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC), 2018
Event-triggered control is one of the design paradigms for resource-constrained networked control systems. In this paper, we consider an event-triggered approach for perturbed time-varying nonlinear systems and show a trigger condition for the system to be uniformly ultimately bounded.

Brief communication: Uniform ultimate boundedness of a fuzzy logic controlled industrial robot

Journal of Robotic Systems, 2001
AbstractThis article addresses the proof of uniform ultimate boundedness of a fuzzy logic controller plus a computed torque control scheme applied to trajectory tracking control of robotic manipulators. Further improvement of the performance of this fuzzy logic control scheme is achieved through automatic tuning of a weight parameter α leading to a ...

Uniform ultimate boundedness of a Model Reference Adaptive Controller in the presence of unmatched parametric uncertainties

2015 6th International Conference on Automation, Robotics and Applications (ICARA), 2015
In this paper, a novel Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) condition for Uniform Ultimate Boundedness (UUB) of Model Reference Adaptive Control with σ-Modification in the presence of unmatched parametric uncertainties is presented. Due to the presence of unmatched uncertainties and due to the usage of the σ-Modification, the control objective of tracking a ...

Uniform boundedness and uniform ultimate boundedness for functional differential equations

Funkcialaj Ekvacioj, 1995
The functional differential equation (1) \(x'= f(t, x_t)\), \(t\geq 0\), \(x\in \mathbb{R}^r\), with \(f\) continuous and locally Lipschitz is considered. The delay is finite. The author introduces the ``uniform boundedness'' and ``uniform ultimate boundedness'' for arbitrary \(t_0\geq 0\). A solution \(x\) of (1) is uniformly bounded at \(t_0\) if \[ \

Stability analysis and design of uniform ultimate boundedness control for a class of nonlinear switched systems

2009 IEEE Control Applications, (CCA) & Intelligent Control, (ISIC), 2009
The problems of stability analysis and synthesis for a class of nonlinear switched systems are addressed in the paper. For arbitrary switching laws and any admissible nonlinear dynamical equations, sufficient linear inequalities conditions are investigated to make such systems are absolutely stable.

Ultimately uniform boundedness of solutions and gradients for degenerate parabolic systems

Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2000
In the article under review, the author studies uniform boundedness of solutions and gradients to the initial boundary value problem for the degenerate parabolic system: \[ \frac{\partial u_i}{\partial t} = \text{div}(|Du_i|^{p_i - 1}Du_i) + f_i(x,\vec u),\quad t>0,\;x\in\Omega, \] \[ u_i\frac{\partial u_i}{\partial n}\leq 0 \quad\text{on } \partial ...

Continuous state feedback guaranteeing uniform ultimate boundedness for uncertain dynamic systems

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1981
We consider a dynamic system containing uncertain elements. Only the set of possible values of these uncertainties is known. Based on this information a class of state feedback controls is proposed in order to guarantee uniform ultimate boundedness of every system response within an arbitrarily small neighborhood of the zero state.
