Ground cloud effluent measurements during the May 30, 1974, Titan 3 launch at the Air Force eastern test range [PDF]
Surface-level exhaust effluent measurements of HCl, CO, and particulates, ground-cloud behavior, and some comparisons with model predictions for the launch of a Titan 3 rocket are presented along with a limited amount of airborne sampling measurements of

Collision Avoidance for Unmanned Surface Vehicles
Considerable progress has been achieved in recent years with respect to autonomous vehicles. A good example is the DARPA Grand Challenge, a competition for autonomous ground vehicles. None of the competing vehicles managed to complete the challenge in 2004, but returning in 2005, a total of five vehicles were successful.

A Survey of Methods for Constructing 3D Urban Models From Point Clouds
The survey outlines a general process for constructing 3D models from point clouds and categorizes the methods based on their use of templates, basic surface primitives, hybrid approaches, or linear primitives. Additionally, the survey reviews the datasets and benchmarks that are essential for testing and training the developed methods.

Unmanned Surface Vehicle for Water Quality Monitoring
This paper proposed an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) for water quality monitoring purposes. The USV offered high maneuverability and accurate monitoring result with IOT implementation. The paper discussed the design and development of a USV, identifying the functionality of USV sensory system, and evaluating performance of USV based on stability ...

Organizational Soundscapes and the Sonicity of Voices: The Power of the ‘Sounds’ that Carry ‘Words’
Abstract Organizations are soundscapes – they resonate with sounds and particularly the sounds of voices. Somehow however voice sonics, that is the sounds of voices and not the words carried on those sounds, have escaped attention in management studies. This absence of analysis is peculiar given voice sonics' undoubted influence on management (they may

Beyond Starch: Towards a Scalable Potato Platform for Molecular Farming
ABSTRACT Thirty‐five years after the first recombinant protein was produced in potato and 30 years after clinical trials of edible vaccines from its tubers, the crop is being reconsidered as a molecular farming chassis. Potatoes can accumulate recombinant proteins in tubers, enabling long‐term storage and simplified logistics.

Abstract Introduction By focusing on the specific functional traits of species, we can better understand how ecosystems function and respond to environmental change. However, field measurements of functional traits can be time‐consuming and costly, whereas remote sensing data can serve as viable alternatives for studying biodiversity at larger scales ...
