Seagrass meadows play critical roles in coastal ecosystems by stabilising sediments, supporting biodiversity and sequestering carbon, yet monitoring their recovery at scale is often constrained by the lack of scalable and repeatable approaches. This study applies an open‐source remote‐sensing framework to track long‐term changes in Zostera muelleri in ...

Collision Avoidance for Unmanned Surface Vehicles
Considerable progress has been achieved in recent years with respect to autonomous vehicles. A good example is the DARPA Grand Challenge, a competition for autonomous ground vehicles. None of the competing vehicles managed to complete the challenge in 2004, but returning in 2005, a total of five vehicles were successful.

The Evolution of Autonomous Systems for Planetary Cave Exploration: A Review
ABSTRACT The exploration of Subsurface Access Points (SAPs), such as lava tubes on the Moon and Mars, has gained significant interest due to their potential as stable environments shielded from surface radiation and temperature extremes. These sites are considered high‐value targets for detecting water and signs of ancient life, and assessing their ...
