The shear strength–suction (here suction induced from unsaturation) relationship is inherently challenging, yet this difficulty is compounded for cemented crushable sands, whose behavior fundamentally diverges from classical clay-centric theories.

Deformation of unsaturated collapsible soils under suction control
Collapsible soils present significant geotechnical and structural engineering challenges worldwide. They can be found in arid or semi-arid regions and are directly affected by the multi-step wetting procedure due to the reduction of soil suction.

Drugs previously repurposed to target blood cancers reduced neuroblastoma and glioblastoma cell growth and viability. However, their levels of anticancer activity were different and their clinical application may be problematic due to side effects at effective doses.

Identifying true shrinkage limit of clay by updating experiments in Chinese standard GB/T 50123—2019
The methods to determine the true shrinkage limit of clay are proposed by updating both the testing procedure and the data processing of the shrinkage limit and shrinkage test methods in the Chinese standard for geotechnical testing method (GB/T 50123 ...

Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

Synthesis of an unsaturated diether analogue of phosphatidyl ethanolamine
A synthesis of racemic diether analogues of glyceryl phosphatides is reported which is applicable to unsaturated aliphatic substituents. The ``oleyl'' diether analogue of phosphatidyl ethanolamine has been synthesized.

Cycles Are Strongly Ramsey-Unsaturated [PDF]
We call a graph H Ramsey-unsaturated if there is an edge in the complement of H such that the Ramsey number r(H) of H does not change upon adding it to H. This notion was introduced by Balister, Lehel and Schelp in [J. Graph Theory51 (2006), pp. 22–32], where it is shown that cycles (except for C4) are Ramsey-unsaturated, and conjectured that, moreover,

The brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys, mainly secretes 4‐oxo‐(E)‐2‐hexenal, (E)‐2‐decenal, dodecane and tridecane, a mixture representative of that released by many heteropterans. We demonstrated that H. halys can synthesise these secretory components de novo using dietary glucose.
