Coordinated USV Control

2016 ASEE Annual Conference & Exposition Proceedings, 2016
Abstract Many universities have lab exercises in the controls classes which consist of modeling and simulations for vehicles and robotics due to the costs associated with real vehicles, robotics or the test environments. Unmanned surface vehicles such as a Sea Fox can be modeled and simulated in Matlab or a similar software.

Optimization of Parameters for an USV Autopilot

2015
The purpose of this research is to provide an insight into the effect of different parameters on the autopilot design. Various independent parameters of three autopilots namely, proportional integral derivative, linear quadratic regulator and model predictive controller are analyzed and evaluated to obtain optimum performance.

Design of an Underactuated USV Catamaran

2022
The Sea2Future program was developed at ENIDH, since 2018, and it has involved the construction of an unmanned surface vehicle (USV) with the participation of students and teachers of this educational institution. This firstUSV, with two hulls, referred to as USV-enautica1, included a control system which allows it to carry out several functions ...

The control and simulation for the ADRC of USV

2015 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC), 2015
The system of unmanned surface vehicle has the problems of large inertia, long time-lag. nonlinearity and the difficulty of building accurate models. Furthermore it can easily be interfered by external factors, such as wind, wave and airflow. The traditional way of controlling, PH), which is applied by this system, can hardly work well to control the ...
