3.6kV Vacuum Interrupter Design [PDF]
This paper analyzes and compares the principle and structure of the vacuum interrupter, so as to determine the selection of materials for the vacuum interrupter, and further compares the structural materials of the interrupter, and compares them from three angles: the shell, the contact, and the shield.

Vacuum Arc Ion Flux From Vacuum Interrupter Contact Gap [PDF]
Dielectric properties of vacuum interrupters are influenced by metal vapour deposition on the inner ceramic surfaces. Therefore these surfaces are partly protected by shield electrodes. The metal vapour originates from the vacuum arc in the contact gap during switching off process.

Breakdown of shield gaps in vacuum interrupters
The objective of this paper is to determine how the high‐voltage discharging metal vapour deposited on the nearby ceramic inner surface influences the breakdowns of gaps between centre shield and end shield in vacuum interrupters.
