This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

Robustness of a supply network highly depends on its structure. Although structural design methods have been proposed to create supply networks with optimal robustness, a real-life supply network can be quite different from these optimal structural ...

Orienteering problem with hotel selection: a variable neighborhood search method [PDF]
In this research, we developed a skewed variable neighbourhood search algorithm to solve the orienteering problem (OP) with hotel selection, a non-investigated variant of the OP.

Pengembangan Algoritma Hybrid Restart Simulated Annealing with Variable Neighborhood Search (HRSA-VNS) Untuk Penyelesaian Kasus Vehicle Routing Problem with TIME Windows (VRPTW) [PDF]
Determining the vehicle routing is one of the important components in existing logistics systems. It is because the vehicle route problem has some effect on transportation costs and time required in the logistics system. In determining the vehicle routes,

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Variable Neighborhood Search for the File Transfer Scheduling Problem [PDF]
ACM Computing Classification System (1998): I.2.8, G.1.6.In this paper a file transfer scheduling problem is considered. This problem is known to be NP-hard, and thus provides a challenging area for metaheuristics.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Optimizing One Million Variable NK Landscapes by Hybridizing Deterministic Recombination and Local Search [PDF]
In gray-box optimization, the search algorithms have access to the variable interaction graph (VIG) of the optimization problem. For Mk Landscapes (and NK Landscapes) we can use the VIG to identify an improving solution in the Hamming neighborhood in ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.
