Food Macronutrient Composition Influences Attentional Bias Toward Food Cues
Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, EarlyView.This study investigated how food cues affect visual attention depending on macronutrient composition. Sweet and savory (protein‐rich) food images were shown before an emotional attentional blink (EAB) task. Both food types induced an EAB, but the effects were stronger for high‐protein foods.
