Suppression of TRIM19 by arterivirus nonstructural protein 1 promotes viral replication
Tripartite motif (TRIM)-containing proteins are a family of regulatory proteins that can participate in the induction of antiviral cytokines and antagonize viral replication. Promyelocytic leukemia (PML) protein is known as TRIM19 and is a major scaffold protein organizing the PML nuclear bodies (NBs).

HUMAN CYTOMEGALOVIRUS-SPECIFIC CYTO-TOXIC T-CELLS - RELATIVE FREQUENCY OF STAGE-SPECIFIC CTL RECOGNIZING THE 72-KD IMMEDIATE EARLY PROTEIN AND GLYCOPROTEIN-B EXPRESSED BY RECOMBINANT VACCINIA VIRUSES [PDF]
CTL are held to be an important host defense mechanism in persistent herpes-virus infections. We have therefore studied the nature and specificity of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV)-specific CTL in normal persistently infected individuals. This was achieved

Recent insights into the structure and function of coronavirus ribonucleases
Coronaviruses use approximately two‐thirds of their 30‐kb genomes to encode nonstructural proteins (nsps) with diverse functions that assist in viral replication and transcription, and evasion of the host immune response.

The SARS‐CoV‐2 papain‐like protease (PLpro) is a medicinal chemistry target. Here we report mass spectrometry assays employing oligopeptide substrates based on the sequences of the viral polyproteins 1a/1ab and on an ISG15‐modified human protein, which enabled the identification of substrate‐selective PLpro inhibitors.

Dengue NS1 Antibodies Are Associated With Clearance of Viral Nonstructural Protein-1
Abstract Background Dengue vascular permeability syndrome is the primary cause of death in severe dengue infections. The protective versus potentially pathogenic role of dengue nonstructural protein-1 (NS1) antibodies are not well understood.

Coalescence of the sites of cowpea mosaic virus RNA replication into a cytopathic structure [PDF]
Cowpea mosaic virus (CPMV) replication induces an extensive proliferation of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membranes, leading to the formation of small membranous vesicles where viral RNA replication takes place.
