Optimized In‐Solution and Gas‐Phase Chemistry Enables High‐Efficiency Interactome Mapping by DSBSO‐Based Cross‐Linking Mass Spectrometry

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 4, 22 January 2026.
We developed a rapid, high‐throughput XL–MS workflow using the enrichable azide‐A‐DSBSO cross‐linker and StageTip‐based SCX fractionation. It drastically reduces preparation time and enhances sensitivity, providing a scalable platform for high‐throughput profiling of protein interaction networks.

Compost Tea as a Natural Bioactive Solution: Unlocking the Antimicrobial and Antiviral Potential of Bell Pepper and Citrus Wastes

open access: yesEnvironmental Microbiology Reports, Volume 18, Issue 1, February 2026.
Compost teas derived from bell pepper and citrus waste are rich in bioactive phenolics and lignin derivatives, showing strong antibacterial activity against gram‐positive bacteria and potent antiviral effects against HSV‐1 and RSV. These findings highlight their potential as sustainable, circular bioresources for biomedical applications.

Comparative Risk of Hepatitis B Virus Reactivation in Patients Receiving Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors or Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors for Liver Cancer

open access: yesAlimentary Pharmacology &Therapeutics, Volume 63, Issue 3, Page 383-395, February 2026.
In a cohort of 1596 liver cancer patients with either current or prior HBV infection undergoing systemic therapy in Hong Kong, the risk of HBV reactivation during immune checkpoint inhibitor treatment was low when adequate antiviral prophylaxis was administered, irrespective of HBV infection status.

Intravesical oxybutynin for bladder capacity in children with spina bifida: the ‘Place de l’OXybutynine Intravésicale chez le Patient Enfant Neurologique’ (POXIPEN) trial protocol

open access: yesBJU International, Volume 137, Issue 2, Page 390-398, February 2026.
Background Neurogenic bladder is defined as a dysfunction of the bladder resulting from damage to the central or peripheral nervous systems. Its treatment is based on a progressive therapeutic escalation, rapidly involving invasive therapeutic procedures such as repeated intradetrusor injections and surgery.
