Computing power is an integrated part of our physical environment, and since our physical environment is three-dimensional, the virtual studio technology, with its unique potential for visualizing digital 3D objects and environments along with physical objects, offers an obvious path to pursue in order to envision future usage scenarios in the domain ...

Virtual institutions prototype
International Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems, 2009Virtual Institutions are Virtual Worlds with normative regulation of participants' interactions. This paradigm is based on normative multiagent systems and is technologically supported by Electronic Institutions. In this paper we outline the prototype that illustrates the application of Electronic Institutions to the domain of Virtual Worlds.

Proceedings Sixth IEEE International Workshop on Rapid System Prototyping. Shortening the Path from Specification to Prototype, 2002
Prototyping has been used to develop electronic systems for a long time. In this work a new prototyping approach, that we named VHDL Virtual Prototyping, is introduced. The new approach introduces VHDL models as the hardware part of the system prototype.

Towards a virtual factory prototype
2015 Winter Simulation Conference (WSC), 2015A virtual factory should represent most of the features and operations of the corresponding real factory. Some of the key features of the virtual factory include the ability to assess performance at multiple resolutions and generate analytics data similar to what is possible in a real factory.

Scalable Simulation-Based Verification of SystemC-Based Virtual Prototypes
Euromicro Symposium on Digital Systems Design, 2019Virtual Prototypes (VPs) at the Electronic System Level (ESL) written in SystemC language using its Transaction Level Modeling (TLM) framework are increasingly adopted by the semiconductor industry. The main reason is that VPs are much earlier available,

Early Concolic Testing of Embedded Binaries with Virtual Prototypes: A RISC-V Case Study*
Design Automation Conference, 2019Extensive testing of IoT SW is very important to prevent errors and security vulnerabilities. In the SW domain the automated concolic testing technique has been shown very effective. In this paper we propose an approach for concolic testing of binaries ...
