Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Influenza virus sequence feature variant type analysis: evidence of a role for NS1 in influenza virus host range restriction [PDF]
Genetic drift of influenza virus genomic sequences occurs through the combined effects of sequence alterations introduced by a low fidelity polymerase and the varying selective pressures experienced as the virus migrates through different host ...

Resistance to antiretrovirals against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) poses a threat to zero transmission of HIV by 2030. Few studies have been conducted on HIV drug resistance (HIVDR) mutations targeting adolescents. We determined the prevalence, pattern of HIVDR mutations, and factors associated with unsuppressed HIV viral load among adolescents ...

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Factors associated with different responses to combination antiretroviral therapy in an observational cohort study of HIV-1 infected patients [PDF]
The introduction of combination antiretroviral therapy (cART) into clinical practice for the treatment of HIV in 1995-1996 has led to dramatic reductions in mortality and morbidity. Factors linked to a positive response to therapy include a potent and
