ABSTRACT This study optimised the dietary supplementation of Lactococcus lactis and Schizochytrium limacinum in genetically improved farmed tilapia (GIFT, Oreochromis niloticus) to improve immunity and resistance to Streptococcus agalactiae infection. Single‑factor experiments and central composite design combined with response surface methodology (CCD‑

ABSTRACT Global population growth and climate change are placing unprecedented pressure on food systems, threatening crop productivity and nutritional quality. Vertical farming, as a form of totally controlled‐environment agriculture, offers an innovative approach to optimizing plant growth and enhancing the quality of high‐value crops such as basil ...

Synthetic Food Colorants and Gut Microbiota: A Systematic Review of Preclinical Studies
ABSTRACT Growing evidence suggests that industrial food processing, including the excess consumption of food additives, might have a negative impact on human health. Despite regulatory safety evaluations, their impact on gut microbiota remains poorly characterized.

This study developed fiber‐enriched pasta by incorporating green banana flour and whole wheat flour and evaluated its nutritional, physicochemical, antioxidant, and sensory properties. Enrichment increased protein, dietary fiber, calcium, and iron contents, while DPPH radical‐scavenging activity reached 95.7%.

This graphical abstract presents a novel Diet‐Artificial Intelligence (AI)‐intestinal Microbiota–Host Health paradigm integrating microbiota‐centric pathways and an AI‐driven multi‐omics workflow. Diet shapes gut bacteria that regulate intestinal mucosal integrity, immune signaling, and gut–brain neurotransmitters to influence host health.
