3D Closed‐Loop Navigation of Magnetic Microswimmers Using Vision‐Derived Depth Feedback
A planar magnetic microswimmer is navigated in three dimensions under a standard microscope. Image defocus supplies a real‐time depth cue, and model‐predictive control with A* planning steers the body on surfaces and in free swimming. Axial position is regulated by propulsion alone, without magnetic field gradients or extra cameras.

An experimental model of vitreous motion induced by eye rotations [PDF]
Background: During eye rotations the vitreous humour moves with respect to the eye globe. This relative motion has been suggested to possibly have an important role in inducing degradation of the gel structure, which might lead to vitreous liquefaction ...

ABSTRACT This paper reports archaeological investigations at the Howard Creek site, a Late Holocene open‐air site in the sub‐coastal Moreton region of southeast Queensland. The site adds to a regional record based largely on rockshelter excavations. Development‐led salvage investigations included excavation, radiocarbon dating, lithic analysis, and use‐

Abstract Background The dentigerous jawbones of a 423‐million‐year‐old stem chondrichthyan (ischnacanthid acanthodian) carry a characteristic combination of multi‐row non‐shedding white teeth with brownish overgrowing denticles. The color distinction makes it a good model for observing the interaction between two odontode lineages, but the nature of ...

An additional weekly resident‐run panretinal photocoagulation (PRP) clinic and implementation of a high‐risk registry and appointment system were associated with a decreased wait time from proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) diagnosis to PRP, increased 3‐month PRP completion rates, decreased 3‐month loss to follow‐up, and increased ophthalmology ...

Association between periodontitis and exudative retinal detachment: A population‐based cohort study
Abstract Background To investigate whether periodontitis, a common bacterial‐induced inflammatory condition, serves as a risk factor for exudative retinal detachment (ERD), which results from fluid entering the subretinal space due to damage to the retinal pigment epithelium or leaky intraocular vessels, typically associated with inflammatory ...
