Artificial Organs, EarlyView.Shear‐induced blood damage—including hemolysis, platelet and neutrophil injury, and von Willebrand factor (vWF) degradation—was evaluated for the BrioVAD and HM3 using an in vitro circulatory loop under clinically relevant conditions. Across 15 biomarkers (n > 6 per group), no significant differences were observed between the two devices.
