YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Optical Vortex Generation from Molecular Chromophore Arrays [PDF]
The generation of light endowed with orbital angular momentum, frequently termed optical vortex light, is commonly achieved by passing a conventional beam through suitably constructed optical elements. This Letter shows that the necessary phase structure for vortex propagation can be directly produced through the creation of twisted light from the ...

Magnetic Z(N) symmetry in 2+1 dimensions [PDF]
This review describes the role of magnetic symmetry in 2+1 dimensional gauge theories. In confining theories without matter fields in fundamental representation the magnetic symmetry is spontaneously broken.

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.

A DESIGN OF GAS MIXER FOR SYNGAS ENGINE USING THREE-DIMENSIONAL CFD MODELING. [PDF]
A gas mixer prototype is developed for mixing air and synthesis gas or “syngas” as a fuel. Syngas is being recognized as a viable energy source worldwide, particularly for stationary power generation.

Performance Characteristics of Vortex Wind Turbines with The Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Aided Simulation [PDF]
The purpose of this paper present research on vortex wind turbines that is referred to as wind turbines without propellers or bladeless. The innovation of the vortex lies in its unique shape and the way it harnesses energy through oscillating motion. The

Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease defined by immune dysregulation, vasculopathy, and progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. Despite advances in care, major complications such as interstitial lung disease (ILD) and myocardial involvement remain the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.

Free Space Vortex Light by Diffraction of a Bessel Beam From Optical Fiber
A free space vortex light generator is designed based on the diffraction of an optical Bessel beam. The Bessel beam propagating in a single mode fiber is modulated by a helical phase disk designed at the fiber end and gradually evolves to vortex light in
